Jessica Fama and Jessica Morandi
This month, Northeast Medical Group recognizes two essential members of its Diversity and Inclusion Council: Jessica Fama and Jessica Morandi.
Jessica Fama, a practice operations manager, has worked for NEMG for nearly five years and has been an active member of the Diversity and Inclusion Council since its inception in 2018. Of the many programs she’s volunteered her time to, her favorite was the Ronald McDonald House volunteer meal program in Valhalla, NY. “I enjoy cooking and I have a soft spot for pediatrics,” she said. “Being able to do something as simple as making a delicious meal for a family going through so much is extremely rewarding. Spending that extra time during our day to do something so impactful, to help an individual or a family, is heartwarming. It reminds me why I do what I do every day – help people.”
Jessica Morandi, a practice operations manager, has been with NEMG since July 2018, and during that time has been a valued member of the Diversity and Inclusion Council. She’s volunteered for numerous initiatives within the Greenwich region, including: a Thanksgiving food drive for the Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County and a Toys for Tots collection. “The ability to give back to the community and come together to support those less fortunate is a terrific feeling,” she said. “I see all the good that is being done by our efforts and it makes me so happy to a part of the bigger picture.”
The Diversity and Inclusion Council is instrumental in carrying out NEMG’s mission to help the communities we serve. For information or to join, contact Robert Mitchell, 203-384-5109. Watch for more information on council initiatives.
