NEMG mobilizes COVID-19 response team
On March 16, members of NEMG leadership developed the COVID-19 incident command structure – an effective plan for managing the COVID-19 crisis. Peter Logue, chief operating officer, NEMG, was designated to represent NEMG on the health system incident command team. In addition, several NEMG leaders have taken roles within the team.
“Everybody has gone above and beyond,” said Ryan O’Connell, MD, communication leader for the team. “The teamwork is incredible and the commitment to patient safety, staff safety and business continuity is 110%. Everyone’s willingness to take on new roles and go out of their comfort zones is incredibly impressive and I am extremely proud.”
