d and i tree

The Office of Diversity and Inclusion is committed to taking all precautionary measures regarding COVID-19 in an effort to keep our patients, employees and the community healthy and safe.

All in-person D&I classes remain canceled, however, Diversity and Inclusion has resumed instructor-led classes, using Zoom. The following classes will be offered in August and September:

  • Ouch! That Stereotype Hurts
  • Defeating Unconscious Bias
  • Cultural Competence in Healthcare
  • Generations Working Together Or Not

Additionally, employees may take these electronic or “e-learn” classes from their on-site or remote computers:

  • Ouch! That Stereotype Hurts
  • Defeating Unconscious Bias
  • Anyone Can be an Ally
  • Gender Identity

Continuing education credits are available to physicians, providers and social workers who complete any of the diversity and inclusion e-learn courses.

All Diversity and Inclusion education-related inquiries should be forwarded to Kwame Davenport, diversity and inclusion consultant, office: 203-502-6553; mobile: 203-215-7917; or [email protected]. For full e-learn course descriptions and registration information, visit the Infor Learning Management System.
