Hospitalist featured in ZDoggMD’s Incident Report webcast
Adam Ackerman, MD, NEMG hospitalist at Yale New Haven Hospital, recently had his Rational Opioid team’s Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) study featured in a live webcast of Zubin Damania’s (ZDoggMD’s) Incident Report. Zubin Damania is a UCSF-trained internist turned web sensation with nearly a half a billion views on social media.
Dr. Ackerman was presenting his team’s system-level opioid work at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) National Forum in Orlando, FL. He was asked to have it highlighted in the webcast as an example of how YNHHS is leading the way on combatting the opioid crisis in the inpatient setting.
