This past April, Morgan Bain, MD, section head, Palliative Care, Greenwich Hospital, and medical director, Stephen and Betsy Corman Center for Palliative Care, Greenwich Hospital, was selected to be the physician co-chair elect of the Assembly Planning Committee of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (AAHPM). The AAHPM is the national organization for palliative medicine, and in this role Dr. Bain, a Northeast Medical Group Palliative Care specialist, will be responsible for organizing the large national meetings during his term. Prior to his arrival at Greenwich Hospital in 2021, Dr. Bain was Professor of Medicine at Duke University School of Medicine.
