Community Outreach Committee Profile – Third Quarter 2023

This quarter, Northeast Medical Group recognizes a valued member of its Community Outreach Committee (COC): Carmen Ortega. 

Ortega, practice supervisor, began working for NEMG in 2022 and has been a COC member since that time. Of the programs she’s volunteered her time to, her personal favorites involve collecting donations for local food pantries and clothing for kids and adults. 

When asked what she enjoys most about working with the COC, she said, “Prior to working with Northeast Medical Group, I was involved with community outreach in all aspects, especially food and clothing drives. Community outreach allows me to still be engaged with my community. I love giving back to those who need it most.”
