Drive-through flu clinics held in Old Lyme

Northeast Medical Group Family Medicine - Old Lyme recently began holding drive-through flu clinics on Tuesday afternoons and Thursday mornings. The clinics allow patients to receive this important vaccine without having to leave their vehicles. Over 70 vaccinations were administered within the first week of the program.
“This is a great opportunity to provide patients with a flu vaccine without them having to leave the comfort and safety of their vehicles,” said Sonia Stavens, PSA II. “During this time, it is important to adapt to the changes in health care for the patients’ safety.”
“This is an efficient option to help keep our patients safe,” said Rachel Branch, CMA. “It also will decrease the number of people who come through the office, protecting both the staff and the patients.”
