Cynthia Tucker, MD

Cynthia Ann Tucker, MD, a board-certified family medicine physician, treats patients enthusiastically in all stages of life, from newborns and up. Dr. Tucker understands how the mind, body and environment are all connected to the overall health of her patients. She encourages consistent lifestyle change and relies on evidence-based medicine to manage a wide range of common conditions. Dr. Tucker has a special interest in adolescent and young adult medicine, recognizing the importance of this transition and bridging the gap between pediatric and adult medicine.

Born and raised in Southeast Texas, Dr. Tucker earned her medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. She moved to Connecticut to complete her family medicine residency at Stamford Hospital, a teaching affiliate of Columbia University. However, she found she couldn't leave the people, weather and pizza that make the Northeast so special. Dr. Tucker also enjoys taking her dog on hikes, college football Saturdays and staying up to date on reality TV.
