Biography - Janice Teixeira, DO

Janice Teixeira, DO, a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist, has an interest in providing caring and patient-centered prenatal care, as well as gynecological care, from teens through menopause and beyond. Through the study of nutrition, Dr. Teixeira has gained a special interest in holistic health to complement her medical knowledge. She has worked in underserved areas and enjoys helping all types of patients, especially those most in need.

Dr. Teixeira earned her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYCOM) and completed her residency at the Mount Sinai West hospital, formerly the Roosevelt Hospital, in New York City. She is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG).
