Karen M. Murphy, PA-C

Karen Murphy, PA-C, is a dedicated board-certified physician assistant specializing in adult care. She earned her bachelor's degree in biology from Simmons College in 2004 and went on to complete her master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Northeastern University in 2008, where she was a member of Sigma Xi.

A native of southeastern Connecticut, Karen is deeply committed to her community. She and her husband have chosen to raise their family in the area, reflecting her strong ties to the region. Her professional background includes working at the Westerly Hospital Emergency Department as a physician assistant (PA) and serving as a family medicine PA at Country Doc Wellness in North Stonington for 14 years. Karen’s extensive experience and local commitment underscore her dedication to providing quality care to her patients.

Karen has a strong interest in preventative care and the management of chronic diseases. She is passionate about helping her patients maintain their health and prevent illness through proactive measures. Her expertise in managing chronic conditions allows her to work closely with patients to develop comprehensive care plans that enhance their quality of life and overall well-being.
