Kids get a head start on healthy living
NEMG and Bridgeport Hospital employees volunteered at the Bridgeport YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day, April 20, which focused on children’s health and well-being. In addition to arts and crafts and indoor sports, employees provided blood pressure screenings, education on bicycle helmet and car seat safety, nutrition, and behavioral health. NEMG also held a children’s hygiene product drive with donations going to families in local shelters.
