New London region volunteers at Quaker Hill Elementary School.
NEMG Community Outreach Committee members from New London, CT, and Westerly, RI, recently volunteered at Quaker Hill Elementary School and Dunn’s Corners Elementary School for Read Across America.
“When the NEMG staff arrived at each classroom, the teachers introduced them as individuals who work at offices that help people,” said Brittany McCollum, practice supervisor. “That statement is true not only for the work NEMG staff do in our clinics, but also in our communities. By visiting the schools and reading to the students we hope to help each child find a love for reading.”
